Flying trapeze is very safe. All students wear safety lines while flying and land in a net. All safety equipment is inspected daily and our instructors’ primary focus is your well-being. Students can work towards flying without safety lines but it usually takes six month to a year of working on a skill before they are allowed to do so. All flying done without safety lines is permitted at the discretion of Jon Wells, Revolution’s owner and head coach.
Athletic clothing is appropriate. Tighter fitting clothing is recommended as well as loose (but not baggy) pants that cover at least the back of your knees. Tights are not required. Shorts are okay in warmer weather, however beginners may find it uncomfortable to perform the knee hang in shorts. Our safety belts will be fitted around your waist so a shirt that keeps you covered is recommended for your comfort.
We recommend that all students arrive about 15 minutes prior to the scheduled start of class to ensure enough time to check in and warm up before class. First time students may want to arrive a little earlier to have time to complete any paperwork or payments before class time.
Absolutely! Family and friends are encouraged to stay and watch. Pictures/videos are always allowed. (Bonus points if you share them with us on Facebook @revolutiontrapeze and Instagram @revtrapeze)

In a beginner class, students usually get five or six turns before the catching portion of the class. Once catching begins, students get two attempts per class to catch their trick.
Yes! Flying trapeze is more about timing than strength. Being a good listener is most important. Most first time students are more than strong enough to learn basic tricks. Those that continue beyond initial classes will build the strength they need over time. We also offer conditioning classes for anyone interested in improving their general fitness and flexibility.
We do! You can book parties, private classes or corporate events. Check out the events section of our site or contact us at 617.575.9005 for more information.
Information on our cancellation policy can be found here.
While tips are not required they are always appreciated. We also love baked goods and pizza, just saying…
Our class cost is based on the minutes/students ratio, 90 minute classes are limited to 8 students while 120 minute classes can have 10. Those smaller class sizes provide the same minutes per student therefore are priced equally.

Students must provide a signed release prior to taking part in any class or activity at Revolution. The release is good for the current calendar year and must be renewed each year.

Students under 18 must have the waiver signed by a legal parent or guardian.
